Dharamshala, Oct. 20 -- A Canadian solo paraglider, Megan Elizabeth Roberts, who took off from the Bir-Billing Paragliding Site in Baijnath sub-division at around 9:45 am on Sunday, has been reported missing in the Dhauladhar mountain ranges near Upper Dharamshala (Triund).
According to an official order issued by Shilpi Beakta, Additional District Magistrate-cum-Chief Executive Officer of the District Disaster Management Authority (DDMA), Kangra at Dharamshala, the Bir Paragliding Association (BPA) has arranged for a private chopper from Thumbay Aviation to carry out a search and rescue operation, which is scheduled to commence tomorrow morning.
