Washington, July 31 -- Canada's decision to recognize the State of Palestine will make it difficult to reach a trade deal between Washington and Ottawa, US President Donald Trump said on Thursday.
Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney said that Canada intended to recognize the State of Palestine during the upcoming session of the UN General Assembly in September.
"Wow! Canada has just announced that it is backing statehood for Palestine. That will make it very hard for us to make a Trade Deal with them. Oh' Canada!!!" Trump said on Truth Social.
