Sabarimala (Kerala), Oct. 8 -- Concerns over alleged corruption and mismanagement at the Sabarimala Lord Ayyappa temple have intensified demands from devotees for the dissolution of Devaswom Boards and the transfer of temple administration to devotee-led committees in Kerala.
Erode Rajan, National Vice-Chairman of the Sabarimala Ayyappa Seva Samajam, said that recent media reports have highlighted multiple instances of irregularities at the shrine, echoing controversies that date back to 2018. Devotees, he added, are frustrated by the lack of decisive action and are seeking a long-term solution.
