Kolkata, April 16 -- Calcutta High Court today asked the Election Commission of India (ECI) to submit a report on Monday on the implementation of Covid-19 protocols in the 45 assembly constituencies across six districts in the fifth phase of the assembly polls to be held on Saturday.

A two-judge bench comprising chief justice T B N Radhakrishnan and Arijit Banerjee on Tuesday directed the ECI that all health-related guidelines must be maintained in the strictest possible manner with regard to campaigning by political parties for the West Bengal assembly polls.
