Kolkata, Dec. 1 -- The Calcutta High Court's single-judge bench of Justice Amrita Sinha will on Monday resume hearing a key petition alleging serious irregularities in the fresh recruitment of higher secondary teachers in West Bengal's state-run schools.
The state government is expected to present the grounds on which the West Bengal School Service Commission (WBSSC) identified "untainted'' candidates from its scrapped 2016 panel,those the commission now considers eligible to sit for this year's secondary and higher secondary recruitment examinations.
At the previous hearing on November 28, Justice Sinha had pressed both the state and the WBSSC to explain the basis of this "untainted'' classification.
