Kolkata, Sept. 26 -- Former State Education Minister Partha Chatterjee, arrested by the Enforcement Directorate (ED) in the SSC school job scam and several related cases, and currently lodged in jail, might walk out of prison today if he is granted bail in the primary recruitment case.

The Calcutta High Court is set to pronounce its verdict today in connection with the bail plea of the former education minister. Chatterjee has been facing multiple cases related to the recruitment scam.

If he secures bail in this particular case, he may finally step out of jail ahead of the festive season, sparking widespread speculation.
