Kolkata, May 6 -- Calcutta High Court's single bench judge Justice Tirthankar Ghosh on Tuesday declined to hear a petition of the family of the victims killed in Murshidabad's Jafrabad violence case.
The judge told the petitioners to go to a separate bench where Justice Soumen Sen has been hearing a set of petitions of Murshidabad violence, sources said.
Justice Ghosh declined to hear on personal ground and the matter was referred to the division bench headed by Chief Justice T.S. Sivagnanam, advocate Kaustav Bagchi, who appeared for the petitioners, told reporters.
