Kolkata, Dec. 23 -- The Calcutta High Court has directed Rajganj Block Development Officer (Jalpaiguri, North Bengal) Prasant Burman to surrender within 72 hours in connection with the alleged murder of gold trader Swapan Kamilya, who was found dead in a desolate area of New Town, Kolkata, on October 29 with multiple wounds.

A single bench of the Calcutta High Court, headed by Justice Tirthankar Ghosh, on Monday, while overturning a Barasat court order granting interim bail, asked the BDO to surrender in the lower court in North 24 Parganas within three days.
