Kolkata, Dec. 23 -- The Calcutta High Court on Monday declined to interfere with the ongoing Special Investigation Team (SIT) probe set up by the West Bengal government into the fiasco during a Lionel Messi show at Salt Lake Stadium on December 13 in which violence erupted and football fans vandalised the stadium.

A set of PILs, including that of Leader of Opposition Suvendu Adhikari, had sought a CBI probe or an independent agency inquiry headed by a sitting high court judge, as well as ticket refunds, following the chaos at the Lionel Messi event.
