Kolkata, July 11 -- The Calcutta High Court today directed the Union Home Ministry to submit a detailed report on whether migrant workers from West Bengal had been sent to Bangladesh.
The court also instructed Chief Secretary Manoj Pant to remain in contact with his counterpart in Delhi to gather information about the workers.
The court has also directed the Centre to submit a detailed report on the entire matter before it comes up for the next hearing on Monday.
