Raipur/Khairagarh, Dec. 22 -- A Chhattisgarh Armed Force (CAF) jawan was allegedly shot dead by a colleague inside a battalion camp in Khairagarh district of Chhattisgarh, in a disturbing incident that has raised questions about internal discipline and conflict management within security units.

The incident occurred late Sunday night at the CAF battalion camp in Ghaghra village.

Police said the victim, Sonveer Jat, a native of Uttar Pradesh posted at the camp, was asleep when another jawan, Arvind Gautam, allegedly opened fire on him.
