Srinagar, April 6 -- A day after the Jammu and Kashmir government faced a backlash after it filed an affidavit in the High Court defending a controversial reservation policy, the three-member Cabinet Sub-Committee on reservation rules interacted with several public delegations and students in Srinagar.

The meeting was held under the chairmanship of Minister for Health and Medical Education, Social Welfare and Education, Sakeena Itoo.

The sub committee interacted with several public delegations and students regarding their grievances on reservation rules, a government spokesman said.
