Bengaluru, Aug. 18 -- Former Minister H Anjaneya has urged Chief Minister Siddaramaiah to ensure that a decisive decision on implementing the Justice Nagamohan Das Commission report on internal reservation among Scheduled Castes is taken in tomorrow's special Cabinet meeting, warning that further delay would weaken the cause of social justice.
In a letter to the Chief Minister, Anjaneya said the government must rise above political pressure and act decisively. "Whatever pressures may come, the state must not waver. The Cabinet must resolve this issue tomorrow itself," he said, stressing that the move would be in line with the principles of Dr BR Ambedkar.
