New Delhi, March 18 -- The union Cabinet has approved the Bharat Audyogik Vikas Yojana (BHAVYA), a Rs 33,660-crore scheme aimed at developing 100 plug-and-play industrial parks across the country to boost manufacturing and accelerate industrial growth.

The initiative seeks to create world-class industrial infrastructure, unlocking India's manufacturing potential and strengthening its long-term growth trajectory.

BHAVYA will build on the success of industrial smart cities developed under the National Industrial Corridor Development Programme (NICDP). The scheme will be implemented in collaboration with state governments and private sector stakeholders.
