Dharamshala, Feb. 26 -- Dr C Paulrasu, Secretary (Agriculture), exhorted stakeholders to form Common Interest Groups (CIGs) and Farmer Producer Organisations (FPOs) and link them with the existing public sector agri-business network to build sustainable value chains and ensure inclusive market access.
Presiding over the technical session on "Building Sustainable Value Chains and Inclusive Market Access" during the 1st National Workshop of JICA Assisted Agriculture Projects here on Tuesday, he stressed that aggregation through CIGs and FPOs would enhance farmers' competitiveness in national and global markets.
