Bengaluru, July 21 -- Karnataka Minister Byrathi Suresh today hailed the Supreme Court verdict that upheld the Karnataka High Court's order dismissing the Enforcement Directorate (ED) case against him and MLA Parvathi.
His coments came after the apex court dismissed the Enforcement Directorate's (ED) appeal challenging a Karnataka High Court order that had quashed the summons issued to Chief Minister Siddaramaiah's wife, BM Parvathi, in connection with the MUDA (Mysuru Urban Development Authority) land allotment case.
A bench led by Chief Justice BR Gavai delivered a sharp rebuke to the ED, questioning the agency's role in what appeared to be politically motivated proceedings.
