Buxar, Dec. 23 -- : A special POCSO court in Buxar on Tuesday sentenced to life imprisonment five convicts in a case related to kidnapping, illegal confinement and gang rape of a minor girl.
After hearing the case, the District and Additional Sessions Judge-VI-cum-Special POCSO Judge Amit Kumar Sharma awarded life imprisonment under Section 6 of the POCSO Act. The convicts were also punished under IPC Sections 366(A), 342 and 120(B).
After detailed hearings and examination of evidence, the court found Shiv Bilas Ram alias Tailor Master, Rahul Kumar, Vinay Kumar alias Billai, Govind Singh alias Shankar Ji and Roshan Kumar Singh, guilty.
