Ranchi, Dec. 14 -- Ranchi Police have busted a Bunty-Babli style cheating racket in the state capital, arresting a husband-wife duo accused of defrauding businessmen of lakhs of rupees on the pretext of arranging loans.
The accused, who were active in the Kanke police station area, have been sent to judicial custody. Notably, Odisha Police had also been searching for the duo in connection with similar cases.
The inter-state fraud came to light following a complaint filed by a victim businessman.
