Sofia, April 7 -- Bulgaria, Ukraine, and Spain shared the eight gold medals at the first leg of the 2024 FIG Rhythmic Gymnastics World Cup series, which concluded Sunday.

Host nation Bulgaria secured three titles: Stiliana Nikolova claimed individual gold in ball and hoop, while the team triumphed in the five-ribbon group event.

Ukraine also won three golds, with Taisiia Onofriichuk topping the individual all-around, clubs, and ribbon competitions.

Spain rounded out the podium with victories in the group all-around and the three balls and two hoops event.

The three-day competition, which began Friday, featured 85 gymnasts in individual events and 12 nations in group contests. This year's World Cup series includes four legs, with upc...
