Srinagar, Aug. 2 -- Apni Party President Altaf Bukhari today called on the Centre to implement much-needed Confidence Building Measures (CBMs) to help bridge the "dil ki doori"-the emotional disconnect-between New Delhi and Jammu & Kashmir.
He also welcomed Kashmir's chief cleric Mirwaiz Umar Farooq's recent statement urging the Government of India to bridge the "dil ki doori"--between New Delhi and J&K. Mirwaiz made the appeal to the Centre during his Friday sermon at the historic Jamia Masjid in Srinagar. Mirwaiz , in rare praise for mainstream leaders, lauded MPs from Kashmir over the debate in Parliament on Operation Sindoor.
