Nashik, Aug. 18 -- A prominent builder in Maharashtra's Nashik has been duped of around Rs 1 crore by a broker woman from Bhandup by promising him an attractive guest house in the picturesque state of Uttarakhand.
It has come to light that she gained his trust by showing him a 'fake e-stamp' bearing the Indian royal seal and seal of the Central Government and now a search has been launched for her.
When the builder reached Roorkee in Uttarakhand, he came to know that the ownership of the guest house was in the hands of a third party and he realised that he had been cheated.
