New Delhi, Feb. 6 -- Minister of State Harsh Malhotra on Friday said that the union Budget this year has focused on continuous growth and progress of the economy, keeping in mind equal emphasis on all four sections of society - youth, women, the poor, and farmers.
The BJP MP while addressing a press conference here expressed that it was a matter of good fortune for the national capital that provisions have been made for the Delhi-Varanasi high-speed railway corridor.
He also mentioned that Rs 3.21 lakh crores has been allocated for road transport infrastructure of the country, and its substantial portion will be spent on improving the traffic situation here with a focus on reducing traffic congestion on Delhi's roads.
