Thiruvananthapuram, Feb. 5 -- Kerala Finance Minister KN Balagopal on Monday presented the State Budget for 2024-25 with an additional resource mobilisation to the tune of Rs 1067 crore.

The estimated revenue earnings is Rs 1,38,655.16 crore and revenue expenses Rs 1,66,501.21 crore bringing down revenue deficit to Rs 27,846.05 crore.

The additional expenditure for 2024-25 came to Rs 1,420 crore while the additional resource mobilisation projected was Rs 1,067 crore. Cumulative Deficit at the end of the year is 273.94 crore.

The Assembly, which will debate the Budget on February 12, 13 and 14, will consider the vote on account on February 15 to meet the expenses of the initial four months of the financial year.
