BSP plans massive Ambedkar Jayanti rally in Lucknow as 2027 poll campaign kickoff

Preetam SrivastavaLucknow, April 4 -- The Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) has begun preparations for the 2027 Uttar Pradesh Assembly elections, with party chief Mayawati holding a series of organizational meetings to mobilize cadres.

According to party officials, the BSP is planning a major show of strength in Lucknow on April 14 to mark the birth anniversary of B.R. Ambedkar.

The event is expected to draw a massive crowd and send a strong political message to rival parties. A former BSP MP said the party is working extensively to make the rally one of the largest in its history.
