Lucknow, July 23 -- In a major push to reclaim its traditional support base, the Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) is carrying out an extensive outreach programme targeting Other Backward Classes (OBCs) across Uttar Pradesh in preparation for the 2027 assembly elections.

BSP's Uttar Pradesh state president Vishwanath Pal said that the party is conducting OBC cadre camps in all 403 assembly constituencies. The initiative aims to reconnect with backward communities that were once the foundation of the party's rise, especially during the tenure of BSP founder Kanshi Ram and later under party chief Mayawati.
