Thiruvananthapuram, Dec. 13 -- The BSNL Kerala Telecom Circle has rolled out 'Sanchar Mitra', a new, modern customer onboarding application aimed at providing faster and more seamless activation of BSNL mobile services across India.
The launch comes after the discontinuation of the earlier Sanchar Aadhaar app, developed by Intensetech, which BSNL had been using for Aadhaar-based e-KYC verification.
The vendor contract for Sanchar Aadhaar expired at the end of November 2025, leading to temporary disruptions in issuing new and duplicate SIM cards.
