Thiruvananthapuram, Sept. 27 -- BSNL Kerala, the telecom PSU's top-performing circle, has reinforced its leadership by achieving 98 per cent 4G coverage across the state, including remote tribal belts, while crossing 7.1 lakh Bharat Fiber (FTTH) connections.
In Lakshadweep, where BSNL commissioned 18 new and 19 upgraded sites by April 2025 under the Kochi-Lakshadweep submarine cable project (KLI), all 10 inhabited islands are now 4G-enabled, with nearly half the households connected through FTTH, marking a milestone in island connectivity.
