Srinagar, Sept. 26 -- Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) has rolled out nearly 800 new 4G towers across Kashmir under its saturation project, significantly expanding coverage in remote and difficult-to-reach areas.

Briefing reporters in Srinagar, BSNL's Principal General Manager Arvind Pandey said that of the 300 towers constructed under the project, 262 are already fully functional, catering primarily to far-flung regions. In addition, he said, 545 towers from the earlier Phase 9.2 have been upgraded, taking the total to about 800 operational 4G sites in the region.
