Jammu, Oct. 27 -- In a major anti-smuggling operation, vigilant troops of Border Security Force (BSF) have successfully recovered over 5.3 kg of suspected heroin, appears to be a drone dropped from the depth area of R S Pura Sector in Jammu district of Jammu and Kashmir.
The BSF spokesman here today said that acting on precise intelligence, BSF troops foiled yet another attempt by Pakistan-based smugglers to push narcotics into Indian territory.
"Based on specific information received from BSF Intelligence, a special operation was planned, and a naka and special ambush was laid in the depth area of R.S. Pura in Jammu," he said.
