BSF recovers 3 Pak drones, 1.5 kg heroin at Punjab border
Chandigarh, April 21 -- The Border Security Force (BSF) recovered three Pakistani drones and 1.57 kg
of heroin in multiple operations across Amritsar, Tarn Taran, and Ferozepur. An Indian narco-smuggler was also apprehended, said BSF spokesperson on Monday.
He said that a joint BSF-Punjab Police operation worked on a specific intelligence in village Habibwala, Ferozepur, which led to the recovery of 1.029 kg heroin. A local smuggler, linked to a Pakistan-based handler, was also apprehended.
The BSF spokesperson also said that in continued action against narco-drones, vigilant BSF recovered three DJI Mavic-3 Classic drones from fields near Rajatal, Amritsar; Gatti Rajoke, Ferozepur and Daoke Amritsar respectively, along with 545 gm of heroi...
