BSF jawan's wife heads to Ferozepur in a bid to secure his return
Kolkata, April 28 -- Nearly five days after Purnam Sahu was detained by Pak Rangers for accidentally crossing the border, wife of the BSF constable Rajini Sahu left her home in Rishra on Monday, and travelled to Ferozepur in Punjab to seek updates from senior officials on efforts to secure her husband's return.
Speaking to the reporters before heading for the airport with her seven-year-old son Arab, Rajini who is a few months pregnant said, "Neither the Ministry of Home Affairs nor the BSF has been able to provide any information about my husband. It has been six days. All I know is that he is imprisoned in Pakistan. I will go and speak to the officials. If necessary, I will knock on the doors of Delhi."
