Los Angeles, June 24 -- Grammy winning rock musician Bruce Springsteen says he had little interest in making his 1984 magnum opus 'Born in the USA', which ended up becoming the singer's most successful album to date.
Admitting that he intended for the record to be something else, Springsteen said he wasn't particularly happy with what came out in the end, reports People.
Speaking to Rolling Stone ahead of the upcoming release of his seven-album compilation 'Tracks II: The Lost Albums', the 'I'm on Fire' singer said that he recorded an entire album between his 1982 record 'Nebraska' and 'Born in the USA', which made deciding on the track list for the latter album more difficult.
