Hyderabad, Feb. 15 -- Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) Working President K T Rama Rao (KTR) on Sunday asserted that the party's struggle to protect the interests of Singareni workers would continue, irrespective of political alignments.

After participating in the 287th birth anniversary celebrations of Sant Sevalal Maharaj at Telangana Bhavan, KTR spoke to the media on developments related to Singareni Collieries, municipal politics, tribal welfare and festival greetings.

He said BRS had extended support to the CPI in Kothagudem only to prevent the Congress from exploiting Singareni and accused both the Congress and BJP of acting in a manner detrimental to the organisation.
