Hyderabad, July 24 -- Telangana Congress Government Whip Adi Srinivas launched a sharp attack on the Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS), accusing the party of attempting to mislead the public and evade accountability over the phone tapping scandal.
Addressing a press conference at Gandhi Bhavan on Thursday, Srinivas said the BRS's stance on the phone tapping issue is akin to a thief calling out another thief.
"For a decade, they indulged in illegal phone tapping and now they are publishing slanderous articles in their own newspapers to target the Congress government," he alleged.
