Hyderabad, May 27 -- Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) Working President K T Rama Rao (KTR) has called for grand celebrations on the occasion of Telangana State Formation Day on June 2.
The main event will be held at Telangana Bhavan in Hyderabad, where the national flag and the party flag will be hoisted, a party statement said on Tuesday.
KTR urged senior party leaders, cadres, and all ranks of the BRS to actively participate in the celebrations and commemorate the formation of Telangana state, which was achieved under the leadership of BRS Chief and former Chief Minister K. Chandrashekar Rao (KCR) after a 14-year-long movement.
