Hyderabad, Oct. 17 -- Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee (TPCC) spokesperson Syed Nizamuddin on Friday accused the Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) of orchestrating a fake news campaign to defame Congress candidate Naveen Yadav and mislead voters in the Jubilee Hills Assembly constituency.
Addressing a press conference at Gandhi Bhavan, Nizamuddin said that since the announcement of Yadav's candidature, the entire constituency had been witnessing unprecedented enthusiasm among voters. He said the young Backward Class leader had garnered strong public support, which the BRS leadership could not digest.
