Hyderabad, Sept. 20 -- BRS working president KT Rama Rao on Saturday hit out at the Congress government, accusing it of burdening people with the newly imposed road safety cess on the purchase of vehicles.
In a post on social media platform X, he alleged the Telangana government had failed to implement Supreme Court-directed road safety measures and was instead shifting the responsibility to vehicle buyers.
"It is extremely cruel to allocate funds from the state budget for road safety and burden innocent people like this," he remarked.
