Hyderabad, Nov. 28 -- Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee (TPCC) President and MLC Mahesh Kumar Goud on Friday launched a sharp attack on the Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS), alleging that the opposition party, now losing public trust, is attempting to regain relevance through a new programme titled 'Deeksha Diwas'.
Addressing a press conference at Gandhi Bhavan, Goud claimed that BRS is trying to mislead people with emotional appeals instead of accepting its decline.
Goud stated that BRS leader and former Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao (KCR) has understood that the "era of BRS is coming to an end", and that people have begun "rejecting him" after witnessing years of misgovernance and exploitation of sentiment.
