Hyderabad, May 24 -- The main opposition Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) in Telangana on Saturday accused the BJP of protecting corrupt Congress leaders in Telangana due to 'secret political deals'.
"Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy is shielding BJP MPs involved in land scams, while BJP is returning the favor by staying silent on his corruption," BRS Working President K T Rama Rao alleged in a press conference at Telangana Bhavan here.
Citing the example of former Karnataka CM Yediyurappa, who resigned after housing scam allegations, KTR questioned why the same standards don't apply to Revanth.
"Several union Ministers have resigned in the past over corruption allegations, and Why not Revanth", he questioned.
