Jaunpur (UP), Sept. 14 -- Two brothers were shot dead by unidentified miscreants in Mungra Badshahpur area of Jaunpur district here in Uttar Pradesh, police sources said here today.
Police sources said that Shahjahan (60) and his younger brother Jahangir (55), both residents of Majhgawan village under Mungra Badshahpur police station area, were businessmen. "Jahangir has a coal business in Kolkata. Both the brothers had gone to Mungra Badshahpur to invite people for Jahangir's son's wedding and were returning to their home around 10 pm late on Saturday night. Meanwhile, motorcycle-borne unidentified known miscreants, who were already waiting in ambush near Ramnagar, stopped them and fired bullets at them," they said.
