New York, Dec. 16 -- Broadway is set to welcome the musical adaptation of "Beaches", a heartrending exploration of friendship and self-discovery, which will begin previews at the Majestic Theatre on March 27, ahead of its official opening on April 2It will run for a limited engagement through September 6 before embarking on a national tour.
Jessica Vosk (Hell's Kitchen, Wicked) and Kelli Barrett (FX TV's Fosse/Verdon, Parade) will star as best friends Cee Cee and Bertie, reports The Hollywood Reporter.
The show comes to Broadway after about a 10-year development period with an international premiere in 2024 at Theatre Calgary in Alberta, Canada, starring Vosk and Barrett.
