Bring more productive technologies to farm gate: Maha DyCM
Pune, June 3 -- Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar said on Tuesday that the Pune Agri Hackathon has done the work of giving direction to the profitable farming of farmers.
Such activities will be implemented at various places in the future, he announced.
He said that since the agricultural sector faces major challenges such as imbalance in nature, shortage of manpower, increasing costs, availability of water, technologies that give more production at low cost and in time will have to be brought to the farmers.The government, agricultural universities, NGOs and agriculturalists should work together to take this new technology to the farmers, he said.
