Patna, Sept. 5 -- People of Patna will now enjoy the experience of a new cable suspension bridge modelled on Rishikesh's "Lakshman Jhula".
The bridge- built parallel to the railway bridge over the river Punpun in Patna near the Pind-dansite- was today dedicated to the public for its use.
The 320-meter-long bridge- having width of 11.5 meters and approach roads of 115 metres on both sides- has pedestrian and light vehicle access.
At present, devotees either take a circuitous route or walk on the railway track to go across the river to perform pind-dan rituals.
