Rio De Janeiro, Oct. 3 -- Botafogo right-back Vitinho has been drafted into Brazil's squad for friendlies against South Korea and Japan, the Brazilian Football Confederation said.

The 26-year-old replaces Monaco's Vanderson, who withdrew after suffering a hamstring injury in his club's 2-2 home draw with Manchester City in the UEFA Champions League on Wednesday.

Vitinho made his international debut in Brazil's 1-0 loss to Bolivia in a World Cup qualifier last month.

The five-time World Cup champions will meet South Korea in Seoul on October 10 and Japan in Tokyo four days later.
