New Delhi, July 3 -- 'F1: The Movie', Joseph Kusinski's sports drama starring Brad Pitt, which hit the screens last week, has already registered a worldwide box office haul of USD 100 million.
The movie has also crossed USD two million in India as of last week, surpassing most Indian releases.
A few South Indian releases like 'Kannappa' have come close, but none are able to match F1 right now. The movie narrates the story of a retired veteran F1 racer Sonny Reyes, who was thrown off his game following a serious injury.
He makes a comes back decades later to compete for his former teammates' team alongside young wunderkind Joshua Pearce. Reyes and Pearce must perform well to save the team and bring home the trophy.
