Guwahati, Oct. 18 -- Bodoland Peoples' Front legislator Charan Boro was today inducted into the cabinet of Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma.
Assam Governor Lakshman Prasad Acharya administered the oath to Charan Boro at a function in Raj Bhavan in Guwahati.
Boro's induction came after the BPF's landslide in the recent election to the Bodoland Territorial Council (BTC).
The young legislator is a twice MLA from Majbat constituency. He first became MLA in 2016 and retained the seat in 2021 assembly elections.
