Hyderabad, Jan. 27 -- Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited (BPCL) on Tuesday signed an agreement with GMR Hyderabad International Airport Limited (GHIAL) to construct a dedicated Aviation Turbine Fuel (ATF) pipeline to Hyderabad's international airport, strengthening aviation fuel infrastructure and reducing dependence on road-based fuel transport.
The proposed pipeline will run over 56 kilometres from BPCL's Malkapur (Sangareddy Dist), Telangana installation to the fuel farm at Rajiv Gandhi International Airport, with about one kilometre passing through airport premises, the corporation said in a release.
