Rampur, Aug. 16 -- After registering around 50 criminal cases against Samajwadi Party MP Mohammad Azam Khan, the Rampur district authorities on Friday demolished the boundary wall of his ''Humsafar Resort'' .
Two JCBs were engaged in pulling down the wall constructed over a nullah of the irrigation department, officials here said here. A large contingent of police was also deployed to prevent any law and order problem during the demolition.
The state Irrigation Department had served a couple of notices to the SP leader asking him to vacate the department's land.
There were allegations that the SP leader had grabbed around 9000 sq feet of the Irrigation department's land for his resort, located near Mohammad Ali Jauhar University, ...
