Srinagar, July 30 -- A boulder from a cliff fell on one of the vehicles of an Army convoy in Ladakh today, Army said.

The incident occurred around 11:30 am when the convoy was moving through a mountainous stretch.

The Army said that recovery operations are currently underway.

"A boulder from a cliff fell on one of the vehicles of a military convoy in Ladakh, around 1130h on 30 Jul 2025. Recovery action is in progress," Army's Leh based Fire and Fury Corps said on X.

Sources said the convoy was on training move from Durbuk to Chongtas and four Army personnel including an officer were travelling when it was hit by a boulder.
