New Delhi, Sept. 20 -- Bottled drinking water sold on trains and at station premises, including the 'Rail Neer' brand and other authorised labels, will be Rs 1 cheaper from September 22 following the implementation of revised GST rates.
The Railway Board has issued instructions in this regard. According to a commercial circular issued today here the revised prices will take effect from September 22. The maximum retail price (MRP) of a 1-litre bottle of Rail Neer will be reduced from Rs 15 to Rs 14, while the 500 ml bottle will now cost Rs 9 instead of Rs 10.
